AC/DC power supply for an X-Ray generator meant to be used in medical applications. Severe specifications for settling time and also size (similar to that of a PC). The power stage is based on a resonant converter that uses IGBTs as switches. The reactive elements required are achieved through a careful transformer design. This work gave rise to a Patent: WO2007/ 141349 A1. |
