MAIN FEATURES | ||
Smart bidirectional power switch including, as well as the main individual swithches, internal floating power supplies, local control circuitry and isolated gate drivers, protection devices. This switch is suitable to be included in complex circuits such as matrix converters. The inclusion of the local control circuitry in the device simplifies the global control to be implemented in the converter. Unlike other matrix-converter switch-modules that include all the nine switches required to mount the converter, this is a single bidirectional switch, which makes it easier to repair the converter in case of damage in one of the switches. |
