Teaching in our courses is based on active participation and a communicative approach. Therefore, our materials are inspired on a task-based approach.

In addition to that, at La Casa de las Lenguas students can choose from among a number of subjetcs (Literature, History, Art, etc.) that provide them with an overall view of Spanish culture.

Learning is based on the systematic practice of five skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing and interacting. In the classroom the lecturer not only favors individual work but also group work and student interaction with motivating activities and exercises. Classes are complemented with the use of audiovisual back-up media (language lab, audio and video material) and new technologies.
