Short Bio
Roberto Giosa is a Ph.D. student at the University of Oviedo and a member of the PROMEBI (Promoting Employment and Welfare in Europe) Research Group. He works in the Department of Sociology where he studies the general practitioners’ management of patients with possible mental health issues, using Street-level bureaucracy as a framework. He is comparing two institutional and organizational contexts, namely Spain and Italy.
Before working in the field of sociology, he obtained a qualification as a Clinic Psychologist from the Italian Ministry of Health and another as a General Health Psychologist from its Spanish equivalent.
