Dear Colleagues and
LA community members;
We
are very proud and excited to continue this tradition of excellence by
hosting the 11EWLA (Gijón 2012). Starting in 1994
this
workshop has evolved from an informal meeting on laser ablation
inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry into an
inter-continental meeting covering all topics relevant for laser
ablation in elemental analysis. Nonetheless this meeting has ever since
and shall continue to keep its workshop character as a base for an
intense exchange of ideas between users and researchers of the
techniques. It is thus open to everybody interested in laser ablation
based analytical methods, fundamental and application oriented
researchers, who want to present recent research highlights and
applications but also to discuss problems and limitations that arise in
this field.
