Review the extant literature on the organizational, governance, and managerial challenges facing agricultural cooperatives around the world, as well as solutions implemented to address these challenges.
THE MAIN ITALIAN GIs FOR WINE, CHEESE, AND PROCESSED MEAT: CASES SELECTION
The first action is to systematise the main organisational characteristics of GIs and their governing bodies, as well as the key performance factors to measure their success –at the individual (business) and collective levels.
UNRAVELING AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVES´ PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT: A LITERATURE REVIEW
The primary objective of this literature review is to evaluate approaches taken in studying the performance of these organizations. Second, the review examines research comparing cooperatives with other types of organizations. Finally, this literature review also ascertains whether studies have considered the influence of organizational innovations on cooperatives’ performance.
