Research interest

The aim of my PhD is to study the impact of enviromental conditions on the temperate broadleaf and mixed forests biome. To achieve this goal we need to know (i) the influence of post-glacial climatic changes on the regional distribution of temperate forests from Northern Iberian Peninsula, (ii) the effect of environmental filters and dispersal limitation on the floristic composition of European temperate forests and (iii) the dominance of tree species in this biome throughout the Northern Hemisphere.
