Es el investigador principal del Grupo de Inmunolog\u00eda Tumoral perteneciente al Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Sanitaria del Principado de Asturias (ISPA). Es Doctor en Medicina y Especialista en Inmunolog\u00eda (v\u00eda MIR). Fue investigador cl\u00ednico y postdoctoral en el Servicio de Inmunolog\u00eda del Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias y del laboratorio Dr. Thomas Spies. Clinical Research Division. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center USA. Ha publicado m\u00e1s de 140 publicaciones relacionadas con la inmunolog\u00eda, el trasplante, la autoinmunidad, la respuesta inmunitaria contra el c\u00e1ncer y la inmunoterapia con un \u00edndice de Hirsch agregado h=42.
