fusion-text-2\"><p>Dentro de las l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n llevadas a cabo en el Instituto Universitario de Oncolog\u00eda del Principado de Asturias (IUOPA) se han generado varias l\u00edneas de ratones deficientes en genes de proteasas, lo que ha contribuido a expandir nuestro conocimiento de la implicaci\u00f3n de estos enzimas en las diferentes fases de la progresi\u00f3n tumoral.<\/p>\n<p>Desde la Unidad de Transg\u00e9nicos, en funcionamiento desde 2008, tratamos de ofrecer a los grupos del IUOPA el soporte tecnol\u00f3gico necesario para generar, mantener y compartir nuevos modelos murinos. En 1999 comienza a trabajar en el laboratorio de Carlos L\u00f3pez-Ot\u00edn, con un contrato del IUOPA, ayudando en la generaci\u00f3n de ratones knock-out. Desde el primer momento se encarga de la manipulaci\u00f3n y cultivo de c\u00e9lulas madre embrionarias. El trabajo realizado contribuye a la generaci\u00f3n de cuatro nuevos modelos animales deficientes en las siguientes proteasas: FACE-1, FACE-2, MT-5, MMP-19.Se encarga tambi\u00e9n del mantenimiento de las l\u00edneas de ratones manipulados gen\u00e9ticamente generados en este periodo.<\/p>\n<p>En 2005 adquiere y pone a punto la tecnolog\u00eda necesaria para microinyectar y agregar c\u00e9lulas madre murinas modificadas en embriones normales con la intenci\u00f3n de generar la quimera que posteriormente, mediante cruce con hembras normales, llevar\u00e1 a la aparici\u00f3n del individuo transg\u00e9nico.
