testaje de nuevas estrategias terap\u00e9uticas, con un inter\u00e9s creciente en el avance hac\u00eda la implementaci\u00f3n de protocolos de medicina personalizada. Obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad de Oviedo. Tras esta etapa de formaci\u00f3n realiz\u00f3 estancias post-doctorales en la Universidad de Sheffield (2003-2007), donde se especializ\u00f3 en el estudio de la respuesta al da\u00f1o en el ADN en c\u00e9lulas tumorales, y en los centros Banco Andaluz de C\u00e9lulas Madre y GENYO de Granada (2007-2012) donde lider\u00f3 trabajos sobre de las sarcomag\u00e9nesis a partir de la transformaci\u00f3n tumoral de c\u00e9lulas madre mesenquimales. En 2012, tras haber obtenido un contrato de Investigador Miguel Servet (Instituto de Salud Carlos III), se ha incorporado al ISPA donde lidera el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n en Sarcomas y Terapias Experimentales dentro del \u00c1rea de C\u00e1ncer del ISPA.
