fusion-text-1\"><p><strong>L\u00cdNEAS DE INVESTIGACI\u00d3N<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Las l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n del grupo se dirigen a explorar el impacto del microambiente tumoral y el metabolismo celular en el desarrollo y progresi\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer, con el prop\u00f3sito de descubrir biomarcadores y nuevas alternativas terap\u00e9uticas. Nuestro inter\u00e9s se centra especialmente en los tumores poco comunes asociados patog\u00e9nicamente con alteraciones en genes del ciclo de Krebs, as\u00ed como en mecanismos de respuesta a la hipoxia. Tras completar una estancia postdoctoral de 5 a\u00f1os en la Universidad de Harvard (1991-1996) trabaj\u00f3 en el Departamento de Fisiolog\u00eda M\u00e9dica y Biof\u00edsica de la Universidad de Sevilla entre 1996-2002, seguido de un per\u00edodo como Investigadora Miguel Servet en el Hospital Universitario Virgen del Roc\u00edo de 1999 a 2002 y el Hospital Universitario Central de Asturias de 2002 a 2008.
