margin-left:0px!important;}}<\/style><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-2 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\" style=\"font-size:20px;margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:31px;margin-left:0px;\"><h2 class=\"title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;font-size:1em;letter-spacing:0px;--fontSize:20;--minFontSize:20px;line-height:1.3;\"><span style=\"font-family: Roboto Slab;\">Una investigaci\u00f3n en la que ha participado el cient\u00edfico Jos\u00e9 Vicente S\u00e1nchez, del Instituto de Neurociencias de la Universidad Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez (UMH) de Elche ha descrito los cambios moleculares que acontecen en el hipocampo del cerebro durante el envejecimiento y durante su estimulaci\u00f3n cognitiva y f\u00edsica.<\/span><\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\"><div class=\"article-text-highlight\">\n<div class=\"ft-helper-closenews\">\n<p class=\"articleParagraph\">El estudio concluye que los est\u00edmulos ambientales f\u00edsicos y cognitivos logran un rejuvenecimiento molecular del cerebro y, en un modelo animal con ratones, ha identificado el primer atlas molecular del hipocampo durante el envejecimiento.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articleParagraph\">Los resultados podr\u00edan proporcionar un fundamento\u00a0<b>molecular\u00a0<\/b>para explicar los beneficios de mantenerse activos durante la vejez y ayudar a dise\u00f1ar pol\u00edticas de envejecimiento saludable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articleParagraph\">Los resultados de la\u00a0<b>investigaci\u00f3n\u00a0<\/b>han sido publicados en una\u00a0<b>revista\u00a0<\/b>especializada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articleParagraph\">Para la realizaci\u00f3n del estudio, se ha recurrido a un modelo experimental conocido como \u2018enriquecimiento ambiental\u2019, en el que se emplean ratones que conviven durante meses en un espacio con gran diversidad de objetos, como\u00a0<b>juguetes<\/b>, rampas o t\u00faneles. Ese ambiente genera una estimulaci\u00f3n de su actividad cognitiva, f\u00edsica y social, lo que se asemeja a una intervenci\u00f3n de estilo de vida que pudiera lograrse con otras actividades en humanos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articleParagraph\">Los investigadores analizaron las distintas capas moleculares del hipocampo del cerebro de\u00a0<b>ratones\u00a0<\/b>j\u00f3venes (2 meses de edad) y ancianos (18 meses de edad) sometidos a ese enriquecimiento ambiental. Se ha detectado que una parte notable de los cambios asociados al envejecimiento pod\u00edan revertirse mediante esa estimulaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"articleParagraph\">Se ha constatado que los cambios en el\u00a0<b>estilo de vida<\/b>\u00a0pueden tener un impacto molecular y epigen\u00e9tico en el organismo y ser utilizados en intervenciones de envejecimiento
