From June 10 to 12, 2026, Murcia (Spain) hosted the XVI Spanish Congress on Water Treatment, organized by the META network (Mesa Española de Tratamiento de Aguas) in collaboration with the «Water Technology» research group of the University of Murcia.
This biennial congress served as the premier national forum for researchers and professionals in the water sector. Aligned with SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), the event addressed critical challenges such as wastewater reuse, desalination, and water resource optimization under the current climate change scenario.
Our research group was proud to be part of this key forum for scientific exchange and networking.
