| MAIN FEATURES | ||
|
The developed converter is intended for portable applications, such as cancer awareness campaigns (early breast cancer detection), VET applications, etc. The equipment will be operated in a bus; thus, the input power source is the bus batteries. It is very important to reduce the size and weight of the converter in order to develop a portable equipment. This implies increasing the switching frequency. In this converter, the switches are implemented using MOSFETs and the power stage is based on a resonant converter, in order to minimise losses. |
