| TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS | ||
| Equipment: | AC/DC Converter | |
| Goal: | Development of specific strategies for HV converters in medical RAD applications. | |
| MAIN FEATURES | ||
|
High-Voltage converters in X-Ray medical applications experiment a wide variation in output and power levels. The output swings from 0 to 120kV and has to be stable in less than 3 msec. Additionally, an adequate control of the voltage level is mandatory, since it determines the radiation dose received. This study focuses on resonant converters. |
