High-Voltage converters in welding machines applications operate with high voltages and high insulation. The output of the converter developed swings from 0 to 17VRMS while providing up to 15ARMS with an insulation voltage of 80kV due to the main converter. The first step in the production of an e-beam is to somehow generate the free electrons. This task is performed by the filament when the voltage of this converter is applied to it. |
