| MAIN FEATURES | ||
|
The project deals with new solutions for high-voltage (more than 50kV), high-power (from 10kW to 150kW) DC power supplies. Different structures of inverters were studied to minimize component count and power losses. In the end, a multilevel topology was proposed, modelled and experimentally evaluated. The materials and the structure of the step up transformer were also considered. A method to calculate the transformer parasitics was tested and validated. A Ph.D Thesis was developr based on this project: “Solutions for Fluoroscopy” by Óscar Pardo Vaquero. |
