Call for papers

The submission and review of papers for the 2013 SmartMILE Conference will be managed through an online conference paper management system called "EasyChair". This system gives you, the author, complete control over your submission. You can upload your abstract and check on the review status of your submission.

The submission process consists of three stages:

  1. Abstract Submission,
  2. Full Paper Submission,
  3. and Final Paper Submission.

In each stage, our committee members will review your paper and notify you of the result. Only papers that are accepted in stage 1 will be submitted to stage 2, and only papers accepted in stage 2 will be submitted to stage 3.

This guide is intended to support authors during the submission process. It has four parts:

  4. Final Paper Submission

The working language of the conference is English.

Submit the full paper as PDF using the IEEE includes and the IEEE IES formatting guidelines (max 6 doublecolumn A4 pages).

Technical papers accepted for the Conference may be published in the final technical program, and may be indexed in IEEE Xplore, subject to final approval by the Conference Technical Committee.

For the "Full Paper Submission" (final step) a specific page with detailed instructions has been prepared for the authors (see in the lateral sidebar "FOR AUTHORS"). Detailed instructions and tools received from the IEEE have been included in this page in order to assure the specific formats and procedures required for the correct publication of the paper in the IEEEXplore.
