The continuous training of the partners, the performance of periodic controls, the resounding rejection of the use of milk by-products or artificial preservatives and a healthy, varied and balanced feeding of cattle, are the guarantee of an artisan product. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The association also understands that it is only possible to\noffer an artisan product when the volumes with which it works do not exceed\ncertain limits, otherwise, it is difficult to control processing and curation\nphases with optimal quality criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Objectives of the Association<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Implement a cheese certification system that guarantees\nthe consumer an adequate level of quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 To represent and defend the interests of members and\nartisan cheese makers in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 To contribute to the consolidation of a differentiated\nmarket space for artisan cheeses, by carrying out promotional, information and\nawareness actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 To Improve quality of the products of the partners,\nthrough timely technical assistance, information and quality control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 To collaborate with the different public entities with a\nview to the implementation of research and development programs to improve the\nartisan products of their associates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>A quality brand<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the commitment to improve and bring its products to consumers, with clear and truthful information, the association has launched, in May 2014, a Quality Seal, as a distinctive for those handmade products of its partners, as a guarantee that they meet the production criteria of artisan cheese, which are contemplated in their statutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/catedraIPA\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/queseros-artesanos-etiquetas.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-979\" width=\"306\" height=\"176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/catedraIPA\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/queseros-artesanos-etiquetas.png 500w, https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/catedraIPA\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/queseros-artesanos-etiquetas-300x173.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 306px) 100vw, 306px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of this brand is to differentiate products made by hand and with local raw material, from those of industrial production.
