El evento se celebra a iniciativa del proyecto \u00abConcepto y dimensiones de la cultura del riesgo\u00bb, del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n en <a href=\"http:\/\/cts.grupos.uniovi.es\/inicio\">Estudios Sociales de la Ciencia<\/a> de la Universidad de Oviedo, en colaboraci\u00f3n con el <a href=\"http:\/\/rdgroups.ciemat.es\/web\/uicc\/inicio\">CIEMAT<\/a> (Madrid), la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uva.es\/export\/sites\/uva\/\">Universidad de Valladolid<\/a>, el <a href=\"http:\/\/cies.iscte-iul.pt\/index.jsp\">Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n y Estudios de Sociolog\u00eda<\/a> del Instituto Universitario de Lisboa y otras instituciones. Su intenci\u00f3n es reunir a personas con experiencia en diferentes campos (filosof\u00eda, biolog\u00eda, educaci\u00f3n, salud, pol\u00edtica, administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, derecho, deporte, arte, industria, periodismo, telecomunicaciones, \u2026) para debatir sobre las complejas relaciones entre confianza, riesgo y conocimiento cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gico. No se trata de ofrecer una serie de conferencias, sino de establecer verdaderos di\u00e1logos entre profesionales de distintos \u00e1mbitos, en un formato din\u00e1mico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In September 2017, between the 25th\u00a0and the 27th, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uniovi.es\/en\/inicio\">University of Oviedo<\/a>\u00a0(Spain) will be hosting an international conference on \u2018Governance, Trust, and Risk Culture\u2019.\u00a0The conference is an initiative of the project \u2018Concept and Dimensions of Risk Culture\u2019, held by the research group in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cts.grupos.uniovi.es\/en\">Social Studies of Science<\/a>\u00a0of the University of Oviedo, in cooperation with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rdgroups.ciemat.es\/web\/uicc\/inicio\">CIEMAT<\/a>\u00a0(Madrid), the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ceitriangular.org\/en\/\">University of Valladolid<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cies.iscte-iul.pt\/en\/index.jsp\">Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology<\/a>\u00a0of the University Institute of Lisbon, and other institutions. Our intention is to bring together experts and practitioners from different fields (philosophy, biology, education, health, politics, public administration, law, transport, art, sports, food industry, journalism\u2026) to debate about the complex relations between trust, risk, and scientific and technological knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
