Predoctoral Researcher at the Department of Geography of the University of Oviedo. MPhil in Development Studies - specialising in Geography from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). From July-October 2016, she conducted a three-month fieldwork stay (partly funded by NTNU) at the Department of Gender and Development at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. In March-April 2017, thanks to a SUPRA NIAS Scholarship, she carried out a two-week research stay at the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies in the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She is also a Higher Technician in Development and Application of Building Projects and the Extraordinary Award of Building and Civil Engineering. Currently, in addition to her research activity, Andrea is a social entrepreneur and the coordinator of a start-up in consulting specialised in human geography.
