Mª Ana Valdés García
She joined Prof. Paulino Tuñón Blanco's group in 1993 where she carried out her Habilitation. She was involved in a R&D project within the ERASMUS Program focused in the design of enzymatic biosensors using conducting polymers as immobilization matrix. This project was partially developed in Åbo Akademi (Finland) and gave rise to a research article published in Electrochimica Acta.
After this, she started a proffesional career in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry working for several companies located in Spain, Ireland and United Kingdom. She currently works as Project Leader in the Analytical & Development Department at Synthon Hispania S.L. (Barcelona).
