The traditional topics of the network combine theoretical and numerical aspects of controllability,
optimal control for ODEs and PDEs, topological optimization, robust design and inverse
problems, together with modeling and applications in different areas. Recently, the mathematical
analysis of machine learning techniques and their applications has attracted the attention of different
members as a new challenging topic.
In this session, researchers from different universities of this network will present their recent
results in this field, covering analysis, numerical methods, computational issues, machine learning and
applications.
Mini symposium organizer:
Carlos Castro (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid)

Session 1.
