Third Edition of FinEduca360: Youth for Youth

    The University of Oviedo, with the support of Caja Rural de Asturias, offers students from the Faculty of Economics and Business the opportunity to collaborate in an educational project aimed at bringing financial literacy closer to younger generations. As part of the project FinEduca360: Youth for Youth, students from the Faculty of Economics and Business will deliver a one-hour financial education talk in a secondary school in Asturias. These talks will take place throughout the 2025/2026 academic year and will be aimed at students in compulsory secondary education and upper secondary education (ESO and Bachillerato).

    The talks of the second edition of “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth” continue

      Coinciding with the Global Money Week, the “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth” project continues its work of bringing financial education closer to ESO and Baccalaureate students in Asturias. These talks, titled “My finances: How to take care of them?”, aim to provide young people with key tools to manage their money responsibly.

      Launch of the second edition of “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth”

        Following the training workshops delivered by professionals from the Spanish Association of Financial Advisors and Planners (EFPA España), the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), and our research group, the first talks of the “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth” project took place in February. Now in its second edition, this initiative continues to bring financial education closer to ESO and Baccalaureate students.

        CNMV talk and workshop on personal finance

          Yesterday, Thursday, February 20, 2025, our research group organized two activities within our FinEduca360 initiative at the Faculty of Economics and Business. María Eugenia Cadenas Sáez delivered the talk “Digital finance and persuasion” at 12:30 in the Lecture Hall, followed by the workshop “First steps in managing personal finances” at 16:30 in the Garage of the Faculty.

          The University of Oviedo publishes a press release on the second edition of “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth”

            The University of Oviedo has published a press release announcing the launch of the second edition of “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth”, a teaching innovation project driven by our research group. This initiative aims to bring financial education to schools in Asturias through talks given by students from the Faculty of Economics and Business. In this second edition, 22 participants have joined the program, a significant increase compared to the 14 from last year.

            La Lección del Alumno shares the experience of participants in “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth”

              The Faculty of Economics and Business magazine at the University of Oviedo, La Lección del Alumno, has published an article in its latest edition about the “FinEduca360: Youth for Youth” initiative, written by Nadia Álvarez García and Ignacio Tascón Amo. In it, they share their experience in this innovative financial education project and highlight its impact on the training of pre-university students.

              FinEduca360: Youth for Youth

                16 students from the Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Administration and Management, Economics and PCEO Law and Business Administration and Management are participating in an educational innovation project financed by the Institute for Educational Research and Innovation of the Vice-Rectorate for Faculty Policies of the University of Oviedo. In the months of May and June 2024 they will give a talk entitled: “My Finances: How to take care of them?” in 11 secondary schools in Asturias.
