Its aim is to train university students to design and deliver workshops and talks on personal finance in schools across Asturias, promoting financial education through a close, collaborative methodology focused on social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is structured in two phases. <strong>First, university students receive training in financial education<\/strong> through sessions delivered by professionals, institutions and academic staff. <strong>Subsequently, the students deliver talks in Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training centres<\/strong>, transferring the knowledge acquired and helping to raise awareness of the importance of personal financial planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abFinEduca360: Youth for Youth\u00bb began in the 2023-2024 academic year as a project funded by the <strong>Institute for Educational Research and Innovation (INIE)<\/strong> of the Vice-Rectorate for Teaching Staff Policies at the University of Oviedo. Since then, the programme has grown in terms of the number of participants, schools involved and its overall social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, <strong>two full editions<\/strong> of the project have been implemented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/fincorp\/index.php\/en\/fineduca360-en\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth-1st-edition-2023-2024-academic-year\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/fincorp\/index.php\/en\/fineduca360-en\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth-1st-edition-2023-2024-academic-year\/\">1<sup>st<\/sup> edition (2023-2024 academic year)<\/a><\/strong>: <strong>14 student participants<\/strong>, <strong>10 talks in 9 educational centres<\/strong>, reaching <strong>161 students<\/strong> in Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/fincorp\/index.php\/en\/fineduca360-en\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth-2nd-edition-2024-2025-academic-year\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/fincorp\/index.php\/en\/fineduca360-en\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth\/fineduca360-youth-for-youth-2nd-edition-2024-2025-academic-year\/\">2<sup>nd<\/sup> edition (2024-2025 academic year)<\/a><\/strong>: <strong>19 student participants<\/strong>, <strong>29 talks in 22 educational centres<\/strong>, reaching <strong>680 students<\/strong> in Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During this time, the project has brought financial education to classrooms across Asturias, enabling university students to return to their former schools or visit other centres in the region, becoming active agents of financial literacy outreach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>2025-2026 academic year<\/strong>, the <strong>3<sup>rd<\/sup> edition of the programme<\/strong> is being implemented, now also supported by <strong>Caja Rural de Asturias<\/strong>, consolidating \u00abFinEduca360: Youth for Youth\u00bb as a reference initiative in financial education and in the transfer of university knowledge to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cajaruraldeasturias.com\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2555\" height=\"701\" src=\"http:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/fincorp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CajaRural-Logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3657\" style=\"width:500px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/fincorp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CajaRural-Logo.png 2555w, https:\/\/www.unioviedo.es\/fincorp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CajaRural-Logo-300x82.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2555px) 100vw, 2555px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00abFinEduca360: Youth for Youth\u00bb is an educational innovation and financial literacy outreach project led by the Finance and Corporate Governance Research Group at the University of Oviedo.
