This path has strengthened my interest in developing innovative plasma-based analytical methods to address environmental and biomedical challenges. My PhD Thesis was devoted to the development of a fs\/ns double-pulse LIBS system and to both fundamental studies and analytical applications of ns-laser-induced plasmas subjected to wet nebulization. My work was supported first by a University of Oviedo grant (PAPI-20-PF-03) and afterwards, by<\/span>\u00a0a Severo Ochoa Grant (BP20-059, Principality of Asturias).
