UU.) interfiere en la formaci\u00f3n de la identidad en mujeres j\u00f3venes que sufren deformaciones o alteraciones faciales por enfermedad. A pesar de que esta tem\u00e1tica pueda parecer oscura, las obras que trataremos aportan mucha luz sobre la relaci\u00f3n entre medicina y sociedad\/cultura, sobre comunicaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dico- paciente en entornos sanitarios, y sobre la consideraci\u00f3n (valor, estigma, verg\u00fcenza) de los cuerpos no normativos en un determinado contexto social y en distintas generaciones. Adem\u00e1s, trabajaremos sobre la importancia de la voz autorial (autobiograf\u00eda y autoficci\u00f3n) para tratar las cuestiones arriba indicadas, incluyendo la (auto)percepci\u00f3n y construcci\u00f3n social de la belleza y la fealdad.
