Topics
Mathematics education is facing new challenges and opportunities in a rapidly changing world. The increasing importance of reasoning, problem solving, critical thinking, and digital competencies requires innovative approaches to the teaching and learning of mathematics. Recent developments in artificial intelligence and educational technologies are transforming how mathematical knowledge is accessed, taught, and assessed.
This special session aims to bring together researchers, educators, and practitioners interested in advancing mathematics education, particularly at the secondary and higher education levels.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: problem solving and problem posing; mathematical reasoning and proof; curriculum and assessment; teaching and learning of specific mathematical topics; artificial intelligence and digital technologies in mathematics education; students’ learning processes; teacher education and professional development; innovative teaching practices; interdisciplinary approaches; and equity, inclusion, and diversity.
Type of contributions
Both theoretical contributions and empirical studies are welcome. Contributions may be presented in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Accepted contributions will be presented as 20-minute oral communications.

- Title of the contribution
- Author(s), clearly indicating the presenting author
- E-mail address
- Institutional affiliation
