En este trabajo se demuestra que el entrenamiento f\u00edsico en la madre modifica la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica del hijo, mediante mecanismos epigen\u00e9ticos, disminuyendo \u201ctemporalmente\u201d el riesgo de desarrollar hipertensi\u00f3n arterial. El ejercicio f\u00edsico act\u00faa hipermetilando el promotor del gen CACNA1C, en miocitos arteriales disminuyendo el riesgo de hipertensi\u00f3n. Estos efectos se van perdiendo con el transcurso del tiempo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The article by Li et al. (2021), from the University of Beijing, provides a relevant effect of physical exercise on maternal-fetal inheritance. This work shows that physical training in the mother modifies the child&#8217;s gene expression through epigenetic mechanisms, \u00abtemporarily\u00bb reducing the risk of developing arterial hypertension. Physical exercise acts by hypermethylating the promoter of the CACNA1C gene in arterial myocytes, reducing the risk of hypertension.
