La ambici\u00f3n con la que nuestra Universidad encar\u00f3 este reto se vio materializada en forma de dos equipos participantes:\u00a0<strong>TSK Noega Racing Team<\/strong>\u00a0y\u00a0<strong>MotoDesign Uniovi<\/strong>. Cada equipo estaba integrado por una decena de estudiantes procedentes de la Escuela Polit\u00e9cnica de Ingenier\u00eda de Gij\u00f3n y un tutor. Pese a ello, los estudiantes pusieron en escena innovaciones que no dejaron indiferente a nadie. Cabe destacar un sistema de inyecci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica aplicado a un motor de dos tiempos que, a\u00fan a d\u00eda de hoy, no ha perdido el car\u00e1cter innovador que tuvo entonces.<\/p>\nEl empuje con el <i>que <\/i>los respectivos equipos afrontaron el desarrollo del proyecto y la competici\u00f3n no se vio recompensado con grandes resultados en las clasificaciones finales globales aunque se despunt\u00f3 en apartados particulares como dise\u00f1o y c\u00e1lculos.
