Por primera vez, el proyecto trascend\u00eda a los centros de ingenier\u00eda incorporando a estudiantes de la Facultad de Biolog\u00eda, el Centro Internacional de Posgrado. Tambi\u00e9n se cont\u00f3 con el apoyo de estudiantes del CIFP La Laboral de Gij\u00f3n. Asimismo, se cre\u00f3 una categor\u00eda Junior para los estudiantes del equipo. Sus miembros eran estudiantes de los primeros cursos universitarios que teniendo mucha motivaci\u00f3n no dispon\u00edan todav\u00eda de los conocimientos y experiencia necesarios para desarrollar un proyecto de la complejidad del Motostudent. Dichos estudiantes se formaban ayudando a los estudiantes veteranos con el objetivo de tomar ese papel en la siguiente edici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta edici\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n supuso el despegue definitivo de la competici\u00f3n Motostudent a nivel internacional. Se incorpor\u00f3 la categor\u00eda Electric junto con la ya existente Petrol y se lleg\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 50 equipos participantes entre ambas categor\u00edas. Estas innovaciones fueron las siguientes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A2C<\/strong>: Asistente aerodin\u00e1mico a la conducci\u00f3n mediante alerones m\u00f3viles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SPD<\/strong>: Sistema de publicidad din\u00e1mica mediante matrices de LEDs integrados en el carenado y que permite la proyecci\u00f3n de logos publicitarios variables.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SIMBIKE<\/strong>: App movil para calcular los desarrollos \u00f3ptimos, puntos de frenada y marchas a utilizar aplicable a distintos circuitos, motos y pilotos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sensorizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;de movimientos&nbsp;<strong>del piloto<\/strong>&nbsp;mediante IMU de 6 ejes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los resultados en la fase de proyecto e ingenier\u00eda fueron muy buenos, estando entre los 7 mejores equipos de su categor\u00eda (de 36 totales) en casi todas las categor\u00edas (un d\u00e9cimo puesto fue el peor resultado).
