On August 25 and 26, the \u00abElectric Mobility Meeting UOH 2022: Present and Future\u00bb took place at the University of O’Higgins, organized by the university itself and the Ministry of Energy. The event brought together experts in electromobility, both national and international, to disseminate the current state and future developments in the field to the community. Additionally, efforts were made to align perspectives from political, academic, and business standpoints to promote synergies that foster electromobility. The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the Minister of Energy of Chile, Claudio Huepe, who delivered a speech to the attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Various topics were addressed during the event, ranging from the impact on the grid and its management for the integration of electric vehicles to the technology involved in electric vehicles, considering applications such as buses, trains, light vehicles, commercial vehicles, and future prospects, especially in the country of Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two professors from the University of Oviedo participated in this event: \u00c1ngel Navarro Rodr\u00edguez and Fernando Briz. \u00c1ngel is an honors graduate from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, a member of the LEMUR research group, project supervisor for motostudent, and a professor at the University of Oviedo. During the event, he presented the motostudent project, covering team organization, work methodology, and design considerations for the electric traction system applied to the MS6 and MS7 prototypes. He also showcased a low-voltage series hybrid traction application in agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
