Permanent Seminar on
Efficiency and Productivity
The OEG and the Department of Economics of the University of Oviedo organizes since 1997
a Permanent Seminar on Efficiency and Productivity. The aim of the Seminar is
to discuss recent papers, both theoretical and empirical, on production theory,
productive efficiency and productivity. The Seminar, which has been going since
1998, meets every two Fridays. The aim of the Seminar is to discuss recent papers on
production theory, productive efficiency and productivity either by members of
the group or invited speakers. The list of seminar speakers over the last 15
years includes leading researches in the field, such as Kristiaan Kerstens, Kevin Fox,
Chris O’Donnell or Boris Bravo-Ureta.
Any person interested in
presenting a paper, please get in touch with the Seminar coordinator: Alan Wall
(awalluniovi.es). The
Seminar is a good opportunity for young researchers, working on their PhD
thesis, to present their work in a friendly environment (Presentation Guidelines).
