Presentation Guidelines
In order to make the sessions more
“efficient”, we encourage the presenters to pay attention to the
following guidelines:
Language
Spanish
or English. Presenters are expected to send a paper one week
before the seminar. If possible, the paper should not exceed 15 pages. Keep in
mind that the probability of having your paper read by the participants is a
decreasing function of paper length.
Presentation
Participants attending the seminar will have your
paper. Therefore, try to highlight the main aspects of your work and, please,
do not use your time defining technical efficiency or showing the Farrell
graph. Participants will ask for clarifications
if needed.
Transparencies
Try to keep them down to just a few. Do not just print
the paper. Rather try to make readable overheads with little content. Please
use a large font.
Questions
Presenters are expected to take questions as raised
instead of making a class-like presentation. On the other hand, they are
encouraged themselves to bring questions or problems to the seminar.
