He is a member of the research networks PROMEBI (Uniovi), WP-E and GoodCorp (ETUI) and external expert for EUROFOUND. He has enjoyed research\u00a0fellowships at CSU-CNRS (France), <span style=\"background: white;\">ETUI-REHS (Belgium),\u00a0<\/span>MBS-University of Manchester (United Kingdom), and IPP-CSIC (Spain). He is co-PI of the research project SODITREC (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.soditrec.eu\">www.soditrec.eu<\/a>) and member of the research projects AUNAS and PROVILA. His research lines include European industrial relations, social dialogue and industrial conflict and compared social policy. <span style=\"background: white;\">He was distinguished with the PhD Extraordinary Award by the Spanish Economic and Social Council.\u00a0<\/span>He has published book chapters in edited books with Oxford University Press, Edward Elgar, Routledge, PIE Lang or Rainer Hampp Verlag, among others. He has also published articles in journals such as Social Movement Studies, Transfer, Employee Relations, Critical Perspectives on International Business, REIS, RIS and RES, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Sergio Gonz\u00e1lez Begega es Profesor Titular del Departamento de Sociolog\u00eda de la Universidad de Oviedo. Es miembro de los grupos de investigaci\u00f3n PROMEBI (Uniovi), WPE y GoodCorp (ETUI) y experto externo de EUROFOUND. Ha llevado a cabo estancias como investigador invitado en el CSU-CNRS (Francia), ETUI (B\u00e9lgica), MBS-University of Manchester (Reino Unido) e IPP-CSIC (Espa\u00f1a).\u00a0Actualmente, es co-IP del proyecto europeo SODITREC (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.soditrec.eu\">www.soditrec.eu<\/a>) e integrante de los proyectos nacionales AUNAS y PROVILA. Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n incluyen las relaciones laborales europeas, el di\u00e1logo social y el conflicto laboral y la pol\u00edtica social comparada. <span style=\"background: white;\">Su tesis doctoral recibi\u00f3 el Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado del Consejo Econ\u00f3mico y Social de Espa\u00f1a.\u00a0<\/span>Es autor de cap\u00edtulos de libro publicados por editoriales como Edward Elgar, Routledge, Oxford University Press, Peter Lang, ETUI y Rainer Hampp Verlag, entre otras.
