Abstract

This is a short note to present the papers that have been selected from the 2nd International Conference in Applied Theory, Macroeconomics and Empirical Finance (AMEF 2016) that took place in the Department of Economics, University of Macedonia on the 6th and the 7th of May 2016.

Author Biography

Theodore Panagiotidis, University of Macedonia, Greece

Theodore Panagiotidis is based on the Department of Economics, University of Macedonia. In the past he held positions in the University of Sheffield, Loughborough University, Brunel University and the London School of Economics.

He has published more than 30 articles in refereed journals including Oxford Economics Papers,  Economics Letters, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Journal of Forecasting, Review of International Economics, Empirical Economics, Computational Economics, Bulletin of Economic Research, International Journal of Finance and Economics and the Review of Development Economics.

He has reviewed for more than 40 journals and is on the editorial board of the Review of Ec onomic Analyis and the Journal of Economics and Finance.
