RESUMEN:
El presente artículo tiene como objetivo el análisis de los recursos de cohesión en textos notariales medievales escritos en Asturias en los siglos XIII y XIV. Nos centraremos fundamentalmente en los mecanismos cohesivos léxicos, gramaticales y discursivos que propician cadenas cohesivas y sustentan la coherencia significativa en estos documentos. La fundamentación teórica descansa en las propuestas de Halliday y Hasan (1976), Mederos (1988), Casado (1995) y Calsamigilia y Tusón (1999). De nuestro estudio se desprende que las marcas de cohesión de estos tempranos documentos notariales son similares a las de otros textos coetáneos pertenecientes a la misma o a otras tradiciones discursivas.

ABSTRACT:
This article aims to analyze the cohesion resources utilized in Medieval notarial texts written in Asturias in the thirteenthth and fourtenthth centuries. We will focus primarily on the lexical, grammatical and discursive mechanisms that support cohesion chains and maintain the meaningful coherence found in these documents. The theoretical foundation rests on the proposals of Halliday and Hasan (1976), Mederos (1988), Casado (1995) and Tusón (1999). Our study concludes that the cohesion markes utilized in the early notarial documents are similar to contemporary texts belonging to the same or other discursive traditions.
