In 2008 she obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies for her research work on \u201cLa industria Agroalimentaria en Espa\u00f1a a trav\u00e9s de la publicidad. Transformaciones en los conceptos de salud y alimentaci\u00f3n (1960\u20132007)\u201d (\u201cThe Agro-Food Industry in Spain through advertising. Transformations in the concepts of health and food [1960\u20132007]\u201d). In 2011, after completing her postgraduate training in qualitative and quantitative analysis at the UNED, she began her doctoral studies at the University of Oviedo\u2019s Department of Sociology, where she is currently writing her thesis \u201cAgroindustria y desarrollo en el medio rural asturiano\u201d (\u201cAgroindustry and development in rural Asturias\u201d) under the supervision of Dr. Cecilia D\u00edaz M\u00e9ndez. Her main area of research has been food advertising, on which she has collaborated in the writing of two articles.
