Since 2000 she has been the director of the research group on Sociology of Food integrated in the Health and Biotechnology Cluster at the Campus of International Excellence of the University of Oviedo (Asturias).<\/p>\n<p>In the last few years she has been the principal researcher in several studies carried out with public funding in the field of food and the social sciences, amongst which stand out \u201cThe food away from home in Europe\u201d (2013\u20132016); \u201cFood Convergences in Europe\u201d (2009\u20132012); \u201cMediterranean diet and food practices\u201d (2003\u20132006) and \u201cChange in food consumption in Spain\u201d ( 2001\u20132003).
