Se espera determinar el significado que espa\u00f1oles y brit\u00e1nicos atribuyen a la alimentaci\u00f3n extradom\u00e9stica, las motivaciones para optar por esta forma de alimentarse, las actitudes y las percepciones que tienen sobre las comidas realizadas fuera del hogar y las rutinas alimentarias en las que se asienta esta conducta.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestra <strong>hip\u00f3tesis de partida<\/strong> es\u00a0 que los comportamientos alimentarios fuera del hogar se construyen en relaci\u00f3n directa con los dom\u00e9sticos y forman parte de una misma decisi\u00f3n en t\u00e9rminos de gasto, pero tambi\u00e9n en t\u00e9rminos de salud, de relaciones sociales y de obligaciones laborales y familiares. Ambas conductas alimentarias se complementan constituyendo conjuntamente lo que podr\u00edamos denominar el modelo alimentario del hogar (domestico y extradom\u00e9stico). Para lograr nuestro objetivo realizaremos una primera <strong>exploraci\u00f3n cualitativa<\/strong>, con entrevistas y grupos de discusi\u00f3n en cinco ciudades espa\u00f1olas seleccionadas por el tama\u00f1o poblacional. Continuaremos con un <strong>an\u00e1lisis cuantitativo<\/strong>, una encuesta telef\u00f3nica, en dos ciudades de Reino Unido (Preston y Londres) y dos espa\u00f1olas (Gij\u00f3n y Madrid).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong>: The\u00a0<strong>main objective<\/strong>\u00a0of this project is to describe, conceptualize and understand the Spanish food model outside the home and \u00a0then compare it with the British model. \u00a0Our aim is to determine the meaning \u00a0Britons and Spaniards give to their eating out, the motivations for choosing this way of eating, the attitudes and perceptions they have about the meals taken outside the home and the food routines in which this behavior is based .<br \/>\nOur <strong>hypothesis<\/strong> is that eating behaviors outside the home are built up in direct connection with those we have at home, that they are part of the same decision in terms of expenditure, but also in terms of health, social relationships and work and family obligations. Both eating habits complement each other and make up \u00a0what we might call the home food model (domestic and extra-domestic). To achieve our goal we will carry out a first <strong>qualitative approach<\/strong> through interviews and discussion groups in five Spanish cities selected according to their population.
