Sus \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n son: (1) Inmigraci\u00f3n, integraci\u00f3n y xenofobia (con especial inter\u00e9s en la islamofobia en Europa y el auge de la derecha radical populista); (2) el desarrollo socio-econ\u00f3mico y pol\u00edtico de China; y (3) los fundamentalismos pol\u00edtico y religioso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la Universidad de Oviedo imparte clases de Sociolog\u00eda y de M\u00e9todos y T\u00e9cnicas de Investigaci\u00f3n Social. En el Master de Estudios Chinos, de la Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco, imparte el m\u00f3dulo \u201cDesarrollo de Estrategias de Negocio en China\u201d. Adem\u00e1s, ha impartido los m\u00f3dulos de \u201cEconom\u00eda y Pol\u00edtica de China\u201d y \u201cPol\u00edtica Internacional\u201d en diversos Masters organizados por la Asturias Business School.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre 2007 y 2009 fue Coordinador del programa \u201cImmigrants and Ethnic Minorities Between Labour and Welfare\u201d de la Red de Excelencia RECWOWE (\u201cReconciling Work and Welfare in Europe\u201d, Comisi\u00f3n Europea, 6\u00ba Programa Marco).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Actualmente participa en tres proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n: es miembro del Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n de Sociolog\u00eda de la Alimentaci\u00f3n, investigando los cambios en las pautas de alimentaci\u00f3n de los inmigrantes en sus procesos de integraci\u00f3n en Espa\u00f1a; es investigador colaborador en el proyecto europeo de investigaci\u00f3n \u201cAll Rights Reserved?
