      Resumen:<\/strong> En este trabajo queremos comparar el grado de desestructuraci\u00f3n de la alimentaci\u00f3n en dos pa\u00edses europeos, Reino Unido y Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>. Tomaremos como referencia los tres aspectos m\u00e1s reveladores de los cambios en los h\u00e1bitos alimentarios en las sociedades modernas: los tiempos, los lugares y las relaciones. En primer lugar, estudiaremos la organizaci\u00f3n temporal de la alimentaci\u00f3n<\/strong> cotidiana para conocer cu\u00e1ndo se come y c\u00f3mo se organizan las actividades alimentarias, b\u00e1sicamente cocinar y comer. En segundo lugar, pretendemos explorar los cambios en los lugares en los que se come (dentro o fuera del hogar),<\/strong> poniendo especialmente \u00e9nfasis en algo que diferencia claramente a ambos pa\u00edses, la comida fuera de casa o eating out<\/em>, un h\u00e1bito alimentario muy frecuente en Reino Unido y muy poco explorado en Espa\u00f1a. En tercer lugar, estudiaremos las relaciones sociales que se establecen en torno a la comida<\/strong>, pues existe un importante debate en Reino Unido en torno a la relaci\u00f3n entre alimentaci\u00f3n y familia y la aparici\u00f3n de nuevas relaciones en los entornos laborales. Con qui\u00e9n se come ser\u00e1 nuestro tercer elemento de an\u00e1lisis.<\/p>\n

      Nuestra hip\u00f3tesis de partida es que el grado de desestructuraci\u00f3n alimentaria var\u00eda en ambos pa\u00edses y aunque existen importantes coincidencias en relaci\u00f3n con los problemas alimentarios, tambi\u00e9n var\u00edan los aspectos que en cada pa\u00eds se consideran preocupantes y motivo de intervenci\u00f3n p\u00fablica para afrontar las consecuencias del cambio alimentario sobre la salud de la poblaci\u00f3n. Es nuestra intenci\u00f3n realizar una comparaci\u00f3n de resultados y llegar a describir las semejanzas y las diferencias en los h\u00e1bitos alimentarios en Reino Unido y Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Comprobaremos estas hip\u00f3tesis a trav\u00e9s de las fuentes estad\u00edsticas oficiales en cada pa\u00eds<\/strong>. Utilizaremos para ello las encuestas de gasto, la Expenditure Food<\/strong> Survey en Reino Unido<\/strong> (fusi\u00f3n de la Family Expenditure Survey y la National Food Survey), y la Encuesta de Presupuestos Familiares y el Panel de Alimentario de Ministerio de Agricultura<\/strong> para el caso espa\u00f1ol. Usaremos tambi\u00e9n las encuestas de empleo del tiempo de ambos pa\u00edses, la Time Use<\/strong> Survey brit\u00e1nica (a\u00f1os 2000 y 2005) y la Encuesta de Empleo del Tiempo espa\u00f1ola (2002-2003).<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Summary:<\/strong> The aim of this project is to check the grade of food disruption in two European countries, UK and Spain, whose food expenditure figures show significant differences between them (Spain spends twice that on food that UK). Our hypothesis is that this grade of disruption varied between countries although there are significant overlaps in relation to food diseases, the issues vary in each country which are considered a cause for government intervention to change the possible consequences on the public health.<\/p>\n

      We refer to three of the most revealing aspects concerning the\u00a0 feed changes: the times, places and relationships. First, study the temporal organization of food daily to know when people eat and which activities are organized, it menas cooking and eating. Secondly we intend to explore the places where they eat, with particular emphasis on something that clearly distinguished the two countries, the food inside and outside the home, a very common eating habits in the UK and still isnot explore in Spain. Thirdly, we will study the social relationships that are established on the food like the family construction and the emergence of new work environments yet unexplored. It would be used the official sources in each country, it is our intention to make a comparison of results and to describe similarities and differences in eating habits in the UK and Spain. Using the expenditure surveys, the Food Expenditure Survey (merger of the Family Expenditure Survey and the National Food Survey) in the UK, Encuesta de Presupuestos Familiares y el Panel de Alimentario of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture for the Spanish case. Also use the time-use surveys in both countries, the Time Use Survey (2000 and 2005) and the\u00a0 Encuesta de Empleo del Tiempo espa\u00f1ola (2002-2003).<\/p>\n
