_{Congreso Internacional X CIJIET & III Congreso Teatrales}

The 10th International Conference of Young Researchers in Theatre Studies (CIJIET) and the 3rd TEATRALES Conference will take place from November 3^rd to 5^th, 2025 at the University of Oviedo, in collaboration with the Department of English, French, and German Philology (University of Oviedo) and the research group INTERSECTIONS (Literatures, Cultures, and Contemporary Theories). CIJIET and TEATRALES will be held jointly, with no distinction between sessions and with shared participants.

The primary objective of CIJIET is to build a community around Theatre Studies and promote dialogue among young researchers in this field, guided by the principle that scientific work should be constructed through shared knowledge.

On the other hand, TEATRALES was created to establish a scientific forum that welcomes a variety of research on Theatre Studies by scholars at different career stages. The upcoming gathering will continue developing such an academic network aimed at supporting research in this field.

One of the main goals of these joint conferences is to foster exchanges between Theatre Studies researchers from different generations and career stages. The event will include plenary lectures, roundtables, performative presentations and discussions, as well as the opportunity to attend live performances, which will be announced in the conference program.

El X Congreso Internacional de Jóvenes Investigadores en Estudios Teatrales(CIJIET) y el III Congreso TEATRALES tendrá lugar los próximos 3, 4 y 5 de noviembre 2025 en la Universidad de Oviedo, en colaboración con el Departamento de Filología Inglesa, Francesa y Alemana (Universidad de Oviedo) y el grupo de investigación INTERSECCIONES (Literaturas, Culturas y Teorías Contemporáneas). CIJIET y TEATRALES se celebran de forma conjunta, no existiendo distinción entre sus sesiones y compartiendo participantes.

El principal objetivo de CIJIET es la construcción de una comunidad en torno a los Estudios Teatrales y el fomento del diálogo entre jóvenes investigadoras/es en este campo, desde el posicionamiento de que el trabajo científico debe construirse a través del conocimiento compartido.

Por su parte, TEATRALES nació con el ánimo de crear un foro científico que acoja una variedad de investigaciones en Estudios Teatrales de personas en diversas etapas de la carrera investigadora. Este nuevo encuentro busca seguir profundizando en la construcción de una red académica que apoye la investigación en este campo de estudio.

Uno de los objetivos principales de este Congreso conjunto es promover el intercambio entre investigadoras/es en Estudios Teatrales de distintas generaciones. Proponemos un encuentro con ponencias plenarias, mesas redondas, comunicaciones performativas, debates y asistencia a funciones de la cartelera del momento según se informará en las siguientes circulares.
