The seventh edition of the Recyclia Environmental Awards has honored the University of Oviedo. Uniovi has been distinguished in the category of public and private entities committed to advancing sustainability.
The jury wanted to highlight two projects in particular among Uniovi’s various initiatives. One of them is the study led by Professor Juan MarÃa Menéndez Aguado on different advanced techniques in the utilization of toner powder. The second highlighted project is the work of the Wolfast team in the production of the electric battery for our motorcycle.
We are proud to know that the efforts of the University and the Wolfast team are recognized by the largest waste management entity for electrical and electronic waste, batteries, and luminaires in the country. Moreover, we continue to work in harmony to achieve significant progress and advance in environmental management research.
