Workshops

Apart from the regular activities, the OEG has had the honour of hosting the seventh and eighth editions of the European Workshop on Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (EWEPA). As William Greene pointed out, the meetings in Oviedo were larger than earlier European meetings and set a new standard for the quality of the conference and the venues of the activities. In this sense, Boris Bravo-Ureta stated that as the 7th EWEPA was a memorable meeting, most attendants did not hesitate to give the OEG the chance for organizing a second EWEPA in Oviedo.

Empirical Methods in Energy Economics

The Oviedo Efficiency Group is going to organize the 9th International Workshop on Empirical Methods in Energy Economics, which will be held at the Historical Building of the University of Oviedo on 7-8 July, 2016.

Water Resources Management

The Oviedo Efficiency Group is going to organize the 2nd International Seminar on Water Resources Management, which will be held at the University of Oviedo on 28-29 June, 2016.

European Workshop on Efficiency and Productivity Analysis

The Oviedo Efficiency Group has organized the 7th and 8th editions of the European Workshop.

Oviedo Efficiency Workshops

The OEG have also organized several Spanish Efficiency Workshops since 1998. This bi-annual Workshop is targeted towards Spanish researchers in this field. The Workshop is actually held in Spanish and the main feature is that all papers have a discussant.
