The fifth floor of the Research Building in the University Campus in Mieres hosts our offices, a seminar room, and various laboratories to process samples, for microscopy, GIS techniques, molecular analyses and sequencing.

A unit for massive captive breeding and experimental manipulation of amphibians and fishes is also available, where we study the ecophysiology and pathology of wild animals.

We also have office facilities in Pola de Somiedo, a mountain village in the Cantabrian Mountains.

Pola de Somiedo is the main town of Somiedo county, and the entry point for Somiedo Natural Park.
