Equipment

In the laboratory located in the Viesques Campus, in Gijón, Spain, the Research Group has a prototype of a monophile N-S tracker with 8 panels, 4 in 1V configuration and 4 in 2H configuration. We also have a prototype of a small-scale Linear Fresnel Reflector, 75 photovoltaic modules, some installed on the facade of the building, and others on the roof. We have a weather station and two pyranometers, one for diffuse irradiance and the other for global and reflected irradiance. We also have a network analyser, I-V curve analyser and other complementary equipment.

 

In addition, we have licences for various simulation software programmes, such as TRNSYS, PVSYST, SolidWorks and Symbolic Calculation programmes such as Matlab or Mathematica.
