It is a pleasure to present to you the VIII Biennial Conference of Young Researchers in Proteomics to be held in Oviedo from 6 to 7 February 2025.
The congress will be divided into 5 sessions, which will cover the different biological, analytical and translational aspects of proteomics. In addition, one training session will be held during the pre-congress. As in previous editions, we want this type of meeting to constitute a forum to present the latest conceptual and technological advances in the field of Proteomics, also encouraging the exchange and dissemination of ideas among participants.
From the organization we want to encourage all young researchers to contribute to the success of this congress with their attendance and the presentation of their work.
The congress will be held in the Historic building of the University of Oviedo, located in the city centre. Oviedo is a medium sized cosmopolitan city, which has been able to grow preserving its historical enclaves, such as its pre-Romanesque constructions or the medieval city. In addition, its parks and gardens oxygenate the city thanks to its abundant vegetation, and offer refuge to those seeking peace and tranquility.
From the Organizing Committee we will work to make the congress a success at a scientific and social level, with an unbeatable stay in Oviedo.
