GELP has taken part in this year’s European Researchers’ Night with a stand entitled Los colores de la luz (The colors of light). Families, children and all curious passersby chatted with us to learn more about the nature of light illustrated with simple experimental demonstrations including continuous and discreet emission sources, diffraction gratings and, of course, lasers!
We also had the chance to participate in the morning session Ciencia sin diferencia (Science sans difference), organized by the Unidad de Cultura Científica y de la Innovación of University of Oviedo and aimed at students with special education needs. It was a pleasure to talk to so many people full of curiosity and desire to learn!!
