Short bio 

Fermín López holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Oviedo and Master’s in Economic Analysis from the Universities of Cantabria, Oviedo, and the Basque Country. In his thesis, he analysed the changes in the educational composition and labour participation of couples in Spain during the first two decades of the 20th century.  He has participated in European projects (7th EU Framework Programme) and is currently collaborating in the Spanish National Plan project «PROVILA: Prolongation of Working Life«.
